List Tag in HTML | Ordered List & Unorderd List

List Tag

List tag is used for create a list in html document. We have two type of list tag:

  • Unordered List
  • Ordered List





Unordered List:

  • Unordered list starts with the <UL> tag.
  • Each list item starts with the <LI> tag.
  • The list items are marked with bullets (typically small black circles).

Attribute Type:

  • Square
  • Disc
  • Circle

Example:

Ordered List:

  • Ordered list starts with the <OL> tag.
  • Each list item starts with the <LI> tag.
  • The list items are marked with numbers.

Attribute type:

  • Numbers (Default)
  • Uppercase Letters
  • Lowercase Letters
  • Uppercase Roman Numbers
  • Lowercase Roman Numbers
